Clean Energy generation

We have to change all of our existing energy generation capacity to equipment that generates clean energy. We also have to massively increase the capacity to cover all of the demands not currently met by electricity, such as heating and transportation.

Nuclear power is included in this category by many governments, because it does not emit carbon dioxide. However clean is really a misnomer, as it produces large amounts of very long-lived nuclear waste which even after half a century of operation still have no long term storage solution. As a means of reducing carbon emissions it really should be the final resort.
